The Missouri Military Academy Summer Confidence Camp is an opportunity for boys, 8-11 years old, to learn how to follow the example of good leaders while having the time of their lives!
Confidence Campers are trained in the basics of group effort and personal responsibility. Through adventurous military training the campers will build self-confidence and learn to trust the other campers. As they traverse the obstacle course or rappel off the 40’ rappel tower, the camper will find inner strength and abilities he never knew he had in him. They are supervised by adult camp counselors who are great role models. Most of the counselors are certified teachers who serve the Academy during the school year. All of the camp counselors have either military or previous camp experience.
Missouri Military Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or ethnicity in its educational and admissions policies, or in its scholarship, loan and athletics programs. However, MMA reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant or to require the withdrawal of any cadets when such refusal or withdrawal is in the best interest of the school.
The Missouri Military Academy Summer Leadership Camp is an adventurous two weeks of exploration for boys, 12-16 years old. Campers learn to follow great leaders, and then to lead others. Activities are designed to challenge each boy to get out of his comfort zone and take healthy risks.
Leadership Campers begin by learning the basics of group effort and individual personal responsibility.
